I have some questions about the Archon card, especially about how it "stacks". Card Text: Worth 1 vote. Called by any Prince or Justicar at +1 stealth. Choose a Camarilla vampire. Successful referendum makes the vampire an Archon. An Archon may enter combat with a vampire controlled by another Methuselah as a +1 stealth (D) action. Any vampire attempting to block an Archon burns 1 blood. Blood Hunts cannot be called on an Archon. Any Camarilla vampire can call a referendum to remove these abilities as a +1 stealth political action. Clarifications and Rulings If a vampire blocks an Archon, he or she burns 1 blood regardless of which action the Archon was taking. (The use of the semi-colon in the V:TES text implies that the point of blood is burned only when the Archon is using his or her rush ability.) [RTR 19960221] The card's effects can be stacked with other Archons. [RTR 20030519] 1. If the vote passes, does the Archon card get placed on the chosen vampire or discarded to the ash heap? 2. If a vampire has the effects of two Archon referendums stacked (I'll choose two as an example), can he use the Archon's ability to attack a vampire as a (D) action twice in a turn? 3. If a vampire has the effects of two Archon referendums stacked, does it require two successful referendums called by a Camarilla vampire to remove both Archon effects, or only one for both? 4. I assume that if a vampire has two Archons, then a vampire attempting to block him burns 2 blood. Is that correct? Thanks!

When quoting card text, please use the official card text http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/?line=Cards http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/HTML/cardlist.html Archon [Jyhad:V, VTES:V, CE:U, KMW:PAl3] Cardtype: Political Action <Requires a> prince or justicar. Choose a Camarilla vampire. If this referendum is successful, put this card on the chosen vampire. [RTR 20030519] From the rulings page: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/?line=rulings Archon: # If a vampire blocks an Archon, he or she burns 1 blood regardless of which action the Archon was taking. (The use of the semi-colon in the V:TES text implies that the point of blood is burned only when the Archon is using his or her rush ability.) [RTR 19960221] # The card remains in play. The referendum to remove the effect burns the card. The card's effects can be stacked with other Archons. [RTR 20030519] > 1. If the vote passes, does the Archon card get placed on the chosen > vampire or discarded to the ash heap? In play. See card text above or the ruling above. > 2. If a vampire has the effects of two Archon referendums stacked > (I'll choose two as an example), can he use the Archon's ability to > attack a vampire as a (D) action twice in a turn? Yes, he can use the action provided by one of the cards in play and then use the action provided by the other card in play. > 3. If a vampire has the effects of two Archon referendums stacked, > does it require two successful referendums called by a Camarilla > vampire to remove both Archon effects, or only one for both? Two total; one for each. > 4. I assume that if a vampire has two Archons, then a vampire > attempting to block him burns 2 blood. Is that correct? Yes, by the ruling above (and the general rule that cards stack).

[ quoted text not captured ] 1. Placed I guess. Like Praxis. Much easyer to have controll 2. Yes, once each card 3. Yes. Two referendums. (But if you first managed to get one out, chances are you have a vote-lock ;) ) 4. Burns two yes.
