First of all let me apologize in case this question has all ready been asked. I was wondering if master cards were discarded after use. For example if I put down Game of Malkav and use it is it then discarded, or can I use it again? Are master cards like Enchantments in MtG or are they like sorcerys? From Ethan ( boidd@cruzio.com )

The rule is that unless the card indicates that it sticks around (e.g. by a statement such as "place on a vampire", by it being a location, or by it specifying the conditions under which it may be removed), then it goes away when played. Keep this rule in mind and you shouldn't have any problems with specific master cards. Rollie

Right. Equipment, retainers, and allies stick around indefinitely. All other card types go to the ash heap when used unless something on the card specifically indicates otherwise. People tend to think of master cards as defaulting to sticking around since that class of cards is chock full of locations and skills and such, but they do default to being one-shot cards. I've heard from a previous person that a master card that says you place on a vampire stays around, so does that mean the Vast Wealth Master card stays around? "Put this card on a ready minion. The minion can now equip with the first piece of equipment you find in your library, working down from the top..." Does this mean you can as an action every turn go looking for a piece of equipment? For instance, If I play an Information Highway, Master unique location, this stays in play correct? Likewise for master skills played on vamps to give them that discipline? Also, what happens with Action cards that grant the vamp with a superior discipline +3 bleed for rest of game? If that card is burned after use how do you keep track of its advantage since it doesn't say it stays on the vamp ( I forget the actual card. ) Stephan

Right, and right. >Also, what happens with Action cards that grant the vamp with a >superior discipline +3 bleed for rest of game?... Technically the card goes to the ash heap, but since there's no way to get stuff out of the ash heap in Jyhad, you may as well put the card on the vampire to remind everyone. Good point. But all the cards you'd want to put on the vampire as a "reminder" you can't get back, so it's safe to go for it.
