I don't get the new Fame ruling in the just released FAQ. It has two
provisos, one of which makes the other moot. It reads:
Fame is considered unique. Multiple Fames are not cumulative.
What gives? If it's unique, how could it possibly be cumulative?

When we were going over the answer we decided it would be fairly obvious
that it should be read as "Fame is considered unique and therefore multiple
Fames are not cumulative (but contested)." Based on feedback this was a
bad assumption, so the answer will be clarified.

Peace Thomas,
Seemed pretty clear to me. "Unique" is clearly defined in the rules.

The reason it's unclear is that the ruling describes what happens
when you have multiple copies of Fame in play--apparently this says that
when 2 famous vampires are in torpor everyone still only loses 1 blood/
turn (of course, it doesn't really mean to say that.)
This implicitly says that you _can_ have multiple Fames in play.
That's why it's confusing.
If they issued a ruling saying that only 1 Mob Connections could be
used to continue a given combat, wouldn't you be a little puzzled?
Yes, the first entry for Fame was confusing, which is why we took it out
during when we did the quick twiddle of the FAQ. It is considered unique,
so obviously the effect can't be cumulative.
