Hi all, We had a tournament this week end where each of the player had to bring a Toreador deck. This gave us the opportunity to play cards that are not regularly played in constructed tournament. One of those cards was Tragic Love Affair. Here are the questions concerning this card. Q1) Can a vamp have more than 1 TLA? Q2) When the TLA is transfered, does it tap the new Toreador? Q3) "A Methuselah can burn the Edge to burn this card". a) Does that "A" mean "Any" in a sense that if Meth A gets the edge, he can burn it to burn a TLA on another Meth's vamp? b) Can he burn it while somebody is transfering the TLA to one of his vamp so that it doesn't tap his vamp? c) If previous answer is yes, does the Meth. who's transfering the TLA still burns 1 pool? Ruling: Yes Also during a bleeding action, a Direct Intervention was played on a bleed modifier card: Q4) Can the targeted player play another bleed modifier after the DI? The ruling made was "no", since the card effect was nullified/canceled, but the card restriction "cannot play another bleed modifier for this bleed"(not being an effect) was not. Although the clarifications stipulated that "Do not replace after combat" was irrelevant and allowed the player to replace the card due probably to exceptionnal concerns. Eloxian Prince of Montreal

It cannot be interrupted. > c) If previous answer is yes, does the Meth. who's transfering the TLA > still burns 1 pool? But that minion cannot play another action modifier card of the same name, since there's a rule against playing the same action modifier twice. > The ruling made was "no", since the card effect was nullified/canceled, > but the card restriction "cannot play another bleed modifier for this > bleed"(not being an effect) was not.
