The (D) action, remove this card. Can the controlling meth of the PS'd minion have another minion remove the card. Normally you can not take (D) actions against your self. If that Meth can remove the card, as a (D) action, who is able to block? If it is not a (D) action can both predator and prey attempt to block. If is is a (D) action and I cannot direct it against myself, then I must convince someone else to do the job. Since it is a master card, it remains under the control of the Methuselah who played it. > If that Meth can remove the card, as a (D) action, who is able to block? You cannot direct it against yourself, so you can't take the action to burn it if you are the controller of the PS (i.e., if your are the Methuselah who played the PS). -- L. Normally you can not take (D) > actions against your self. well, from what i remember, pentex subversion remains under the control of the meth who played it, so that the D action to burn it is directed against that methuselah, and only they can attempt to block (barring anomalies) and any of your other (vampires or minions? i can't remember the text..) can take this action... salem....

Which leads me to remember to ask...LSJ, do you play DCI or Golden tennants when you actually play? Or arent you allowed to say in public? :> James B.

[ quoted text not captured ] Golden Tenets do not address (D) directability. Golden tenets address only two things: Vote pushing and repeat actions. However, I will say that allowing self-directed (D) actions is not a good idea for the reason that the expansion cards were all written with the non-directability rule firmly established. Reversing that rule for these cards can create a broken environment. If you use a house rule allowing self-directed (D) actions, then add a house rule that puts 'Cannot direct this action at yourself or cards your control' errata on all of the (D) actions allowed by expansion cards. Hi, You say that master cards always remain under control of methusalah who played it so D actions cannot be attempted by that methusalah against that card. (is that clear? :) ). So my question is say Methusalah A plays Power Base Mexico then disputed territory it to another methusalah can Methusalah A still steal the blood on it as D action. thanks mark Yes. The action is taken against the controller of the card (Pentex Subversion). Since it is a master card, it remains under the control of the Methuselah who played it. > If that Meth can remove the card, as a > > You cannot direct it against yourself, so you can't take the action to > burn it if you are the controller of the PS (i.e., if your are the > Methuselah who played the PS). > [ quoted text not captured ]

Card text on Disputed Territory causes control of the location to be given to the selected Methuselah. [ quoted text not captured ]
