(LSJ) Q about combat and tapping

Greetings all. I'm sure I'll be sounding like a newbie but, please, believe me when I said I've been playing the game since it came out. However, not much. :-) So, twice in a few weeks the question came with two different playgroups, with two different answers to settle the matter. So I'd like to have a professional opinion on that one. Situation: a) an Untapped minion Bum Rushed by another one b) no block is made, either from the target or another minion. Q) does the target minion become tapped? I think not, as the target was untapped, didn't block, the card text doesn't say the target becomes tapped, and "being tapped or untapped doesn't matter for combat". Thanks for settling this "dispute".
