This has prolly already been asked many times, but since I haven't seen any of the answers, I will ask again :) Can superioir bonding be used to give the stealth bonus to a non-bleed action, like a vote action or such? It has been argued to death in my group from both perspective, so I wanted to get the right answer. Thank You Danny The oppinions above are mine, and are subject to change at any time without prior notice.

Unfortunately, no. I made this mistake for some time before I was corrected. If someone can give me the rationale (I always believed you could use _part_ of a card in Jyhad), I would appreciate it. Peace Danny, No, Bonding (inferior or superior) may only be used as an action modifier for a Bleed action. Nil carborundum illigitimi, James R. McClure Jr. The OS/2 Apostle <insert disclaimer here>

Thank you James for such prompt response, but alas I beg you for another boon, can you or anyone else direct me toward somewhere official where this rulling was made (if such thing exist), not to say that I doubt your word, but my group isn't as trusting as I am. :) [ quoted text not captured ]

Rationale: It is a bleed modifier, with a side effect of increased stealth. Except that: you may not use the superior version unless you *need* the side effect. Cards which may be used to partial effect: Anarch Troublemaker - may tap one or two minions Brujah Frenzy - can be used to block an action even if combat is impossible due to the target Brujah being in torpor (attempting self-rescue, or whatever). In this case, the action will be blocked, but no combat will occur. Cards which cannot be used for partial effect: Bonding - Must use the bleed enhancer - no adding stealth to non-bleed actions. Brujah Frenzy - even though the taget victim is not the blocking minion (the action is simply blocked), BF may not block the action unless there is a suitable (untapped, ready, opposing) minion to not block the action. That is, you might think that a Brujah could easily go into a frenzy even if no one was around, but that is not the case. The Second Tradition - Domain You must have a P/J who is *both* tapped and in need of intercept to play the card. An untapped Prince may not gain intercept with 2nd Trad, nor may a tapped Prince untap with 2nd. Trad if the acting minion is not at +X stealth. -- L.
