This came up in a game last night, and I am throwing it to the group for a clarification. We have two vampires, both with superior presence, one attacking, one blocking. The attacking vampire plays a majesty, which allows it to spend a blood to untap after ending combat. The question is, can the blocking vampire ALSO play a majesty and untap after combat, or does the combat end before the blocking vampire's action takes place? Thanks in advance, Jeff G.

I think the only way the blocking minion can play a card first is if it is a card says play before range is determined. Sorry, but this ruling changed some time ago. Opposing minions have the ability to play strike cards, but their strike will not resolve. In this case, the first minion will play S:CE and the second minion will play S:CE. The first minion's S:CE resolves, and the second minion's S:CE does not resolve. However, (contrary to how I feel things work intuitively) any _side effects_ (like untapping) are not effected by S:CE, thus both minions could untap. @ The Corrupter - Adrian Lee Sullivan @ GAT/CS/WS R+++* r(+)>++ # Gamer Coffee-Addict Scripter Author # C(+++)$ USX+$ N++ e+* @#$ Comments ? sull...@cslab.uwlax.edu $#@ tv(+)> X++ b++(+++) @#$ <http://cslab.uwlax.edu/~sulli_al/jyhad> $#@ PS+&-+ PE&-&++ z*+?

Tom ruled that both minions may play S:CE and untap (if thay are able).

Are you saying that the acting minion's strikes are resolved first?
