Vampire V1 goes to Torpor. Methuselah M2 plays Minor Boon to save V1. later... V1 bleed M3. M3 plays deflection - naming M2 as the target of the bleed. What happens? a) Deflection cannot name M2 since M2 isn't a valid target for V1. b) V1's bleed is automatically unsuccessful (fizzles). c) ??? -- L. I would say a) because of the card text, and it overrules the general rule of Deflection. I guess that in a three player game M3 cannot use Deflection at all. ))marko -- I would give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Tom, This probably timed-out while you were away last weekend, so I'll post it again: Vampire V1 goes to Torpor. Methuselah M2 plays Minor Boon to save V1. later... V1 bleed M3. M3 plays deflection - naming M2 as the target of the bleed. What happens? a) Deflection cannot name M2 since M2 isn't a valid target for V1. b) V1's bleed is automatically unsuccessful (fizzles). c) ??? -- ----- L. Bluh. I would say it's a tossup between a) and b). I'll have to add the question to the design team list. For now, go with a).
