Thank you LSJ for your answer about Ablative Skin. Here is another one : if my acting minion S:CE, does the bloking minion has the possibility to strike ? In the rules, it is written that S:CE ends immediatly the combat. So ... i would say no. If S:CE is played, the dammage done by DotB is not taken, is it ? Thank you and have a Sweet Bleed. K1

Hi Arnaud, You are correct that you strike first as acting minion, but in VTES strikes are considered to be simultaniously, so the blocking minion has the option to strike. The srike will have no effect as you S:CE, unless it is a Catatonic Fear. Then your acting minion will take one unpreventable damage. [Provided the range is close] Unfortunately (or not) the damage of DotB IS taken, as the round ends after the S:CE. Also if you played a Dawn Operation, your acting minion would take one unpreventable aggravated damage. Hope this clears up the questions, Tim Eijpe In article <397D4C88...@renault.com>, [ quoted text not captured ] -- PROPHECY OF GEHENNA: On The First Day Of Gehenna The Shrieking Wind Shall Be Silent And When A Black Sun Hangs From A Somber Sky Caine's Sleeping Children Shall Once Again Arise Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

[Provided the range is close] To clarify - as the acting minion, you *choose* your strike before the opposing minion chooses a strike. But both minions choose their respective strikes before either strike resolves. Strike resolution order is not determined by looking at who is the acting minion. Strikes normally resolve simultaneously, although S:CE ends combat immediately when it resolves (before any other strike resolution effects take place), not when it is announced. > Unfortunately (or not) the damage of DotB IS taken, as the round ends > after the S:CE. DotB damage is done at the end of the round, and the round ends when S:CE resolves. > In article <397D4C88...@renault.com>, > Arnaud Clavel <Arnaud...@renault.com> wrote: > > Thank you LSJ for your answer about Ablative Skin.
