Here are a few questions that have come up in our games recently. Is it correct that only toredor and not !toredor gain the extra bleed bonus from aire of elation? If an untapped minion is bums rushed and no one blocks this action, is the targeted minon tapped when combat occurs? or are they untapped because they didn't attempt to block the action? Is it right that wolf claws can be played after the choose strike phase, therefore making their damage aggravated as you enter the damage resolution phase of this round of combat? Is it right that the living manse can be burned to end combat at any time during combat, even as late as the damage resolution phase? If a player has all their vampires of a clan burned, does the player burn all their clan specific masters/minion cards that they have in play? Also, if the ventrue gain control of the acedemic hunting ground for example and don't have a tremere, can they benefit from the card or is the card simply burn't as soon as they gain control of it? Finally, does anyone know if there are any shops in London selling cards, i have tried Virgin (whose entire vtes stock vanished in October), Forbidden Planet, Orcs Nest and Playin Games in central London but none carry vtes anymore. Alternatively if anyone has details of mail order companies/distributers who still carry vtes in the UK can you let me know. Thanks in advance Emile

Toreador and Toreador Antitribu are two different clans. Even in the RPG, the Camarilla Toreador consider the Sabbat Toreador to be of an entirely different clan. > If an untapped minion is bums rushed and no one blocks this action, is > the targeted minon tapped when combat occurs? or are they untapped > because they didn't attempt to block the action? They remain untapped because they didn't block. Combat in and of itself has no effect on whether someone is tapped or not. > Is it right that wolf claws can be played after the choose strike phase, > therefore making their damage aggravated as you enter the damage > resolution phase of this round of combat? Correct. > Is it right that the living manse can be burned to end combat at any > time during combat, even as late as the damage resolution phase? If you play by card text, yes. If you use WotC errata, no. Errata has been issued to allow this option only before range is determined. > If a player has all their vampires of a clan burned, does the player > burn all their clan specific masters/minion cards that they have in > play? No. Once a card is in play, it remains in play. The only card that I am aware of that requires the controller to have a specific clan in play in order to avoid burning the card is Power Base: Berlin. Card Title: Powerbase: Berlin Card Text: Master: unique location You may use a master phase action to move 1 blood from the blood bank to the Powerbase. Any Ventrue you control may move 1 blood to the 'base as a +1 stealth action. Tap and burn X blood from the 'base to give a Ventrue +X intercept against a political action. The 'base can be stolen with a successful vote called at +1 stealth. If controlling Methuselah has no Ventrue in play, burn this card. Noal McDonald Michigan Jyhad League -- DISCUSSION, n. They can benefit from stolen HG's. Similarly, a non-Tremere you control may benefir from the Academic HG. Clan/discipline requirements are only considered when the card is brought into play (barring specific card text, of course) Regards, R. Right. !toreador can use Aire of Elation for +1/+2 bleed (inferior/superior), since the +2/+3 bonus only works for toreador, not other clans. > If an untapped minion is bums rushed and no one blocks this action, is > the targeted minon tapped when combat occurs? or are they untapped > because they didn't attempt to block the action? They are left as they are - untapped in this case. The only things that tap a minion are: 1) attempting an action and 2) successfully blocking an action. > Is it right that wolf claws can be played after the choose strike phase, > therefore making their damage aggravated as you enter the damage > resolution phase of this round of combat? Mostly. You actually have to play it before strike resolution, but you can play it during strike announcement after both strikes have been announced. > Is it right that the living manse can be burned to end combat at any > time during combat, even as late as the damage resolution phase? No (because it has errata): Living Manse [SAB] - Equipment Location (Tzi) (1) * Living Manse can be burned to end combat only before range is determined in a round of combat. No. The former.
