Though I'm sure that Jon is busy with other projects, but does it seem that he has vanished. Even just a acknowledgement(sp?) that he is still lokking at the ng on occation.Though I usually lurk, I would like to see the rulings from the last set of questions that he said he present to the rules team. _______________________________________________________________________ Study??? What is that, and why would I do it before finals??? ^_^ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Zelf the Worox mail:andb...@prairie.nodak.edu URL:http://www.acm.und.nodak.edu/~andbrown _______________________________________________________________________

So would all. The sad part is that when people have complained, Jon has complained right back. His attempts at defense usually revolve around the busy nature of his schedule and the flippancy of the rules team, not to mention his inability to make "Wilkie"-style rulings all by himself. However - the fact that he entirely disappears for weeks at a time (esp. after promising rules at a given time and then not delivering) is particularly inexcusable. Looks like we got another Shawn. -spongy

[ quoted text not captured ] Shawn didn't have time to perform his function and so sought a replacement for himself. 'Course, in this case, the cure may be worse than the disease. At least when Shawn was around, he had something to offer. The replacement chosen from Customer Service was lacking just as much (if not more) in the time-available department as Shawn was, and had markedly less experience in playing the game (or, at least, in playing the game properly). Hopefully, Wilkie is off looking for a replacement, and not just shirking his duties here. And (to stack my hopes in the face of tradition) here's hoping that the replacement will be an improvement. -- L.
