Question about the new preview setite.

If he attempts an action, someone attempts to block, and he plays Venenation, is the block cancelled since the blocking minion can't block him anymore due to having corruption counter?

[ quoted text not captured ] I would say they still do block. This is because, from card text, Venenation can only be played AFTER a minion has blocked. The vampire's card text says vampires cannot attempt to block him. The vampire has already attempted and successfully blocked; before combat begins, he plays Venenation, then you go to combat. Unless of course you Change of Target after the Venenation but before combat, which you can legally do... wow that is super, super evil. Play that new Revelation of Ecstasy card to tap and corrupt one guy. Then untap and try and call a vote, they block with another dude; play Venenation, Change of Target, then bleed for lots. They can't block you. I'm thinking there's probably also some hideously evil stuff that can be done with this vampire and Mask1KFaces? Big scary dude corrupts prey's minions, then bleeds. They decline to block. Then weenie setite plays Mask and jumps in on the bleed. Then big scary dude actually bleeds. Is that legal?

Also, you don't need Venenation when you can play him with Cagliostro. - Cagliostro bleeds - he gets blocked and put a corruption counter, then plays Majesty or Change of Target and untaps - Big Scary Dude bleeds for a lot, unblockable (if redirected, Majesty) - Cagliostro play Enticement or whatever - BSD does something lese he can do. I believe you got it the wrong way. You don't need to play him with Cagliostro when you can play Venenation+Change of Target. No chance to Grapple, Psyche, Rötschreck etc and with a couple of emergency Psychomachias even DI won't hurt you much.

I already think of adding the new big guy, of course
