In addition to that, I have to wonder what Dr. Garfield's middle initial
might be. The call letters of the radio station (KRCG) seem a little too
coincidental for my taste. (Or maybe I just play too much Illuminati...)

I don't know if it qualifies as an inside joke, but Dr. Jest, the vampire
could be named after the Dr. Jest, the torturer in the Elric of Melborne
series.

Bit of trivia: Anson can actually do that thing with his tongue.

Another inside joke is Lucian. Anyone from The Camarilla will understand.

Quinton McDonnell looks nothing like Quinton Hoover... Zack North would
be closer, but even he's pretty off. While Melissa Barton bears a passing
resemblance to Melissa Benson, I don't think that's a portrait, either.
Anson is a portrait of the real thing, though, yeah.

I figured as much -- but in a related question, is Nicol Bolas related
to Niko Bolas, one of the producers on Melissa Etheridge's first album?
We also caught one that bowled me over laughing. The Caitiff vampire
Igo (which I pronounce EE-GO) is really not "Igo -- The Hungry" but
"I Go Hungry" becuase he doesn't get +1 stealth to hunt, therefore he can
get blocked and driven to torpor, so he goes hungry!

Funny you should mention Igo...I've met the guy who was the model for him.
His name is Keith Slade and he lives in Rhode Island (as does Ed Beard, the
artist). Traded Magic cards with him, too. :)
I also met the guy who was the model for Lazarus, a student of Beard's named
Ron Rousselle who might have some artwork in a future Magic expansion. I
think there's also a card that Beard himself was the model for, but I'm not
sure which one it is since I don't have the card (it's got a picture of a
bearded guy holding a cup over a table, I believe).

Don't know that one -- like many groups, ours is strictly limiting
purchase on Jyhad so we don't get the Magic race condition!
Sounds like a bunch of RISDE people are involved here! (Rhode Island
School of Design) Any school which sires the Talking Heads should be
carefully watched! :-)
A few more references (IMO):
Didi Meyers -- couldn't be a reference to Clinton's press secretary could it?
On the tile bathroom background of any Malkavian, in the corner by the
blood strength are the mirror images of WW and WOTC -- initials for two
game companies we know fairly well.

One question I had about Didi Meyers: who's that lady pictured with Didi?
