I haven't noticed a particular ruling on this card, so maybe the question hasn't come up with other groups, but in a recent game here, there was a question about whether or not playing The Second Tradition on a vampire untaps the vampire or whether the vampire must first be untapped by another card. What is the popular opinion on this? E-mail to jhs@ucsd.edu as well as a post here would be appreciated. Thanks. BCNU. -- Jon Schell Gunslinger

The Second Tradition untaps the vampire as part of its effect; you don't another "untap now!" card in order to use the Second Tradition. Tom Wylie rec.games.deckmaster Network Representative for aahz@hal.com Wizards of the Coast, Inc. also the Network Representative for alt.games.jyhad
