Hi! I got two questions that came up during our play 1. Anima Gathering Suppose A vampire that has played anima gathering is banished. Will influencing the banished vampire out again put it into play tapped or untapped? If untapped will the Anima Gathering be burned as a result? Anima Gathering Cardtype: Action Discipline: Auspex +1 stealth action. [aus] Put this card on this acting vampire and choose another minion you control. Burn this card if this minion untaps. During your untap phase, you may choose not to untap this minion as normal. The chosen minion gets +2 intercept. [AUS] As above, and the chosen minion also gets +1 bleed. Banishment Cardtype: Political Action Political Card -- Worth 1 Vote. Called by any vampire at +1 stealth. Choose a younger ready vampire. Successful referendum means that the chosen vampire is moved to the uncontrolled region (breaking any temporary control effects). The vampire is uncontrolled. Any cards and counters on that vampire stay with him or her (but they are out of play as long as the vampire remains uncontrolled). 2. Strike with Conviction Suppose an imbued declares a +1 bleed for burning Strike with Conviction. If the bleed is blocked does the strike with conviction still have to be burned (i.e. does it work like govern the unaligned where the blood cost is only paid on a succesful action)? Strike with Conviction Cardtype: Conviction Burn to make a hand or weapon strike against a monster at +1 damage. Burn to bleed at +1 bleed as a (D) action. Hope you can help Regards Frederik

No. (i.e., yes) http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad/msg/2a2221a228811358

Burning the Anima Gathering via Banishment seems to contradict your answer to the same kind of question on February 13: groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad/msg/18d0f1c044603dda Josh Feuerstein's logic in that thread, that the vampire doesn't "untap" by being Banished but does enter play untapped, seemed reasonable to me... [ quoted text not captured ] Quite right. Untapped. Not Burned. Is the correct answer. Sorry about that.
