ok say you have 2 in combat: Vamp A strikes normally and Vamp B strikes to dodge. can Vamp A play Pulled Fangs on Vamp B. Another Combat question: Say 2 vamps in combat again Vamp A strikes normally and vamp b blurs and then uses 3 pushing the limits. Vamp A doesn't go to torpor (whatever reason) and plays taste of Vitae. Does Vamp A get 1 blood or 5 blood? thanks --Brian

Nope. Vamp A failed to successfully inflict more damage to vamp B - Pulled Fangs' condition is not met. >Another Combat question: Say 2 vamps in combat again Vamp A strikes normally >and vamp b blurs and then uses 3 pushing the limits. Vamp A doesn't go to Nitpick: technically, vamp B plays Pushing the Limit, then strikes resolve, then plays Blur and plays two more Pushing the Limits, assuming vamp A generates no additional strikes. >torpor (whatever reason) and plays taste of Vitae. No. You didn't inflict any damage because of Dodge, so you can't play Pulled Fangs, you didn't do more damage than the other vamp. > Another Combat question: Say 2 vamps in combat again Vamp A strikes normally > and vamp b blurs and then uses 3 pushing the limits. See errata: "Taste of Vitae only counts blood that the opposing vampire burned as a result of damage." -- -- for more info msaari finger msa...@tukki.jyu.fi @jyu.fi 282 "if in doubt, stab Austria"

Correct: they both inflicted zero damage. > >Another Combat question: Say 2 vamps in combat again Vamp A strikes normally > >and vamp b blurs and then uses 3 pushing the limits. Correct: Taste only counts blood lost to damage. -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) V:TES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
