Hi, I'm having trouble to find Sabbat War starters here in France (I tried Ostelen and StarPlayer in Paris, and most shops in Nice) Every shopkeeper tells me they can't get any. Is this : - My paranoia ? - Some local, temporary problem ? - Something bigger happening (starters no longer in production) ? -- Francois, feeling somehow futile, given the context in the US. All our feelings goes to the victims of that terrible terrorist strike.

Starters are no longer in production. Neither are boosters. The same is true of Final Nights. Sabbat War sold out (at the distributor level) almost as soon as it was released. It was reprinted and sold out again in January of this year. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Neither is currently scheduled for reprinting, AFAIK. It all depends on the demand. [ quoted text not captured ]

I'm a bit late on the news, I see. Then, shamelessly wasting bandwidth on this newsgroup, I'd like to tell everybody that I'm willing to buy Sabbat War Starters, one of each. If you want to sell them to me, or if you can give me some useful links, please do so by email, I'd be very grateful. (remove all capital letters from my adress to answer) -- Francois

[ quoted text not captured ] By the speed in which the new V:TES card are selling out it should be obvious the demand is very high. I think it would be a shame not to reprint Sabbat War and Final Nights. We didn't even get Final Nights in the stores where I live and we only got one box of Sabbat War starters and one box of Sabbat War boosters. It would be extremely annoying to hear that Sabbat War and Final Nights were out of print so soon after their release. Michael

This is not a give, by any means. Speed of sale does not necessarily mean anything unless you take into account how much was printed. White Wolf can also usually only rely on the sales statistics with/from distributors, rather than stores. [ quoted text not captured ]
