If a minion with a leather jacket is in combat with another minion who plays a blood of acid (SUP) can the former minion burn the jacket to prevent the damage from it's own strike?

[ quoted text not captured ] No. Leather Jacket can only prevent damage from the opposing minion's strike. Incidentally, the backlash damage from Blood of Acid is not from a strike at all, but is environmental. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. [ quoted text not captured ] No. The BoA damage is considered 'enviromental', i.e. it's not considered to come from a strike, and therefore it is not damage from a strike, as required by Leather Jacket. This means you can't use Skin of Steel or other similar cards either. You should check the Rulings and Clarifications online, I think it's clear enough there: http://www.white-wolf.com/VTES/rulings.html Flux
