We have a freak who played a Great Beast with Huitzilopochtli when he
had a Soul Gem on him. He burned Huitzi and then he had a brand new
(free) Ian Forestal with a Soul Gem on him. What do you think of that
? And we were lucky he didn't thought about putting some Master
Necromancy and some Possesion for Ian Forestal to go back for
Huitzi...
I'm I dreaming or all this stuff is legal ?

Oh yes, it's perfectly legal, one of the first things I thought of when I
read the card. 3 Vampires for the price of 1 ( plus a few actions ).

Right.

Ah yes, but notice that you don't even pay for ONE vampire, as you miniontap
good'ol Huitzipochtli before he calls upon his old friend...

That's pretty neat.
Three turns to transfer out Itchy-Poker.
One turn to equip a Soul Gem.
One turn to play Call the Great Beast.
One turn to actually CALL the Great Beast.
Need both a Soul Gem and Great Beast in hand, which means you better
have a LOT in your deck -- 6 each, minimum. And you better have at
least four SupercalifragilisticHuitzilopochtli-docious in your crypt,
meaning that you have a good chance of vampire #5 being him: splat goes
the combo.
Assuming you've laden up your deck with Necrophilia skill cards, Huitzo
can get a NEC card on turn 4 and call the Great Beast in one turn -- and
pull himself back out if he happens to be the next one up. Downside:
must now transfer out Ian Forestal normally, and the whole Possession
angle has gone flop.
Better angle: use FOR skill cards and 12 Huitzo's. Call the Great
Beast action now becomes unblockable via Daring the Dawn, and anytime
you need a new vampire, just get yourself burned with DtD. Minion Tap
each Huitzo lots, and preferred action (of course) should be
Govern/Condition/DtD. Sucks to be Deflected.
>I'm I dreaming or all this stuff is legal ?
Seems legal from here. Seems more than a little bit fragile, too.
It'd be neat to see it actually go. I lack confidence.

Well, a deck actually using Itchy-Poker a lot (and Ian Forestal
optionally) would find Zillah's Valley to be not entirely without use.
If you could also get a Parthenon out:
Play Fortitude
Play Minion Tap
>One turn to equip a Soul Gem.
Freak Drive.

And all this turns into one action.

You need no NEC skill cards, just let the Great Beast have it as one of his
three superior disciplines :)

And even if you draw itchy-poker, he'll be brought into play with soul
gem (as the first itchy poker was an 11 cap).

I do not rank NEC as one of the best 3 disciplines. It is good and
strong, but if I am getting the Great Beast out, I am not going to take
Possession actions with him. I am giving him FOR/DOM/POT, and I am
going to either bleed or Rush with him every single turn. The actual
disciplines might vary, but he will be bleeding or Rushing. Since he
has FOR, he might just be doing both with a Freak Drive.
Not to mention that if you don't use skill cards, you're not going to be
calling the Great Beast before turn 7, and will have already been
ousted. =)

hehe you won't be ousted of Huitzilo calls the beast :) But yes, Nec isn't
really among the 3 best ones. Actually discussed with a friend recently what
disciplines we'd give a Beast (since no one has managed to get one called
here yet) and we thought for, pot and dom would be the best as well :)
Fortitude is particularly useful so they don't kill him (I guess people
would try that as soon as he his the table) AND you can make double use of
him with Freak Drives. However if you really want to be weird and funny, you
could give him some Cool (tm) unimaginable discipline combos like Obeah,
Temporis and Thanatosis for example hehe. Well maybe not that extreme, but
Obeah, Fortitude and Dementation maybe? :) Then you put LUnatic Eruption on
predator and block with Beast :P Huitzilo has Demenation as well. And you
can use Blessing of Chaos and make sure they don't S:CE with presence and
stuff. Ok it'as just an odd idea and not really viable perhaps...but I like
to try odd things =)

That's awesome. Also include some disguise improvised flamethrowers and
covenant of blood.

The discussion of what to give him came up the one time we've seen it happen so
far. We debated what would be scariest, what would be amusing, and so forth.
From a certain point of view what the person actually did ranked fairly well
for scariest.
"What are you giving him?"
"Potence."
"What other disciplines?"
"Um, Potence ... and ... um ... hmm."
"Well, why don't you give him the disciplines of your other guys?"
"Potence and ... can I look through my deck? I guess not."
... and, so it went on for a while until he finally decided on some other
disciplines.

Hmm.. itchy-poker = huitzilipoctli ?
But anyways, I had thought about nice 12 stage combo about huitzi and
the great beast with doing unblockable actions and always minion
tapping both from full blood to one or two to do the actions =).
You remember that if huitzilipoctly has nice special for this :
"During your master phase you may pay a pool to gain a master phase if
Huitzilopochtli is ready."
It's quite cheap.
So the combo went something like this:
(Crypt full of huitzis)
1. Bring Hui out
2. Minion Tap Hui
3. Put Fortitude Master on Hui (use his special)
4. Fetch soul gem - Freak Drive
5. Call the great beast (choose atleast FOR)
Hui burns and another comes up with the soul gem
6&7. Both do whatever with both(too mad great beast isn't a baali,
otherwise he could sanguine instruct Hui), like bleed
Next turn.
8. Minion Tap Beast
9. Put Fortide master on Hui (use his special)
10. (minion tap Hui if you have parthenon etc).
11. Beast bleeds (or rushes etc) unblockable (daring the dawn) with
modifiers etc.
12. Hui gets another beast
So continue from step 5 to the infinity. You could also do something
else with the beast and then start rolling with force of will etc.
It should get you quite a nice pool gain per turn (better if you have
parthenon), do unblockable bleeds and die horribly by clogged minion
taps on hand.
Well you only need these cards per turn for this combo to be
effective:
2x Minion taps
1x Fortiude
1x CtGB
1x Daring
some stealth =)
some bleed modifiers...

You don't even need the Parthenon : just use Huitzilopochtli's special !

Man... Obeah. Anesthetic Touch plus just about anything is SCARY. Potence
for Immortal Grapple and Fists of Death x N, Protean for claws, Animalism so
they can't run away (and Strength of the Bear can sorta replace FoD if you
want)... pick two and go to town. Personally, I'd go with AUS POT OBE and
use AUS for intercept, Telepathic Tracking (in case they prevent your
damage), and Aura Reading. Then I'd probably play with Fortimatude skill
cards both for Xtopalopakettle and for the Great Beast so he can Freak and
FoW and Dare the Dawn (this one's mainly for Witzypockly).
