Vampire Jane bleeds, vampire Joe attempts to block. Jane plays Faceless Night at Superior Can Joe play On the Qui Vive between the time he taps from Faceless Night and the time the bleed resolves? Name: Faceless Night Cardtype: Action Modifier Discipline: Obfuscate [obf] +1 stealth. [OBF] +1 stealth, and any minion who attempts to block this action and fails becomes tapped when the action is resolved (before resolving the action). Name: On the Qui Vive Cardtype: Reaction Only usable by a tapped minion. This reacting minion can play reaction cards and attempt to block as though untapped until the current action is concluded. If this minion is an ally, he or she does not untap as normal during his or her next untap phase. A minion may play only one On the Qui Vive between his or her untap phases. thanks, Vegas gNat

He can deflect/reduce prior to tapping for the Faceless Night. If you just desperately need to cycle, yes it could be done.

[ quoted text not captured ] To cycle. And, to be clear, it's too late to bounce/reduce after you're tapped for Faceless Night, right? I'm not sure that you actually can cycle in this case. I'm curious to hear what LSJ says! Ira

[ quoted text not captured ] faceless night doesn't tap you until the action resolves. so no, you can't play on the qui vive, because you're not tapped. and also by that token, yeah it's too late to bounce/reduce when you tap, because the action's already resolved. "+1 stealth, and any minion who attempts to block this action and fails becomes tapped when the action is resolved (before resolving the action)" -- salem (replace 'hotmail' with 'gmail' to email)

Thus, you become tapped BEFORE you reduce your pool. and yes, Lasombra, I want to use it to cycle. But if I draw a Telepathic Counter from the redraw, couldn't I play it? Vegas gNat

[ quoted text not captured ] You can play Freak Drive after an action is resolved, so there is clearly still an action after an action "resolves": Freak Drive [for] Only usable at the end of a successful action (after resolving the action). Untap this vampire See Vendetta for reactions: Vendetta Only usable when you are successfully bled for more than 2 pool . . . I don't believe you can play Telepathic Misdirection (at aus or AUS) since you are not "being bled" anymore, you were successfully bled. You can't enter the "resolving action" phase without there being a successful bleed, so you are no longer eligible to block or redirect the bleed. But I don't see any reason why you couldn't, in response to a successful bleed, OtqV and then Vendetta, and I don't see any reason why Faceless Night wouldn't tap you immediately prior to the bleed being successful, making you eligible to play OtqV. - Rob

It explicitly taps you prior to the resolution of the already-successful action.
