You can bleed. Tainted Vitae doesn't say "burn an extra blood *to* bleed",
it says "burn an additional blood when he attempts to bleed".
So, he has to attempt to bleed before he burns the blood (not the other
way around). And, as always, he ignores burn blood effects in excess of
his current blood supply.
