If a player with a untapped Malk plays two different Malk Rider Clauses on two different political actions, does that mean his next two votes pass or that they are both burned when he calls a vote. I tend to think the latter due to the wording of the card, but I wanted to verify it before it comes up in a JOL game I'm moderating. Apparently, someone wanted to try out the Anarch Revolt/Malk Rider Clause combo I mentioned a while back. Noal -- "DISCUSSION, n. The both cause the "next" vote the Malk controller calls to pass. Not the next two in turn. (The Rider Clauses themselves are burned when played.) -- L. Worry not. I was not planning to try to make it cumulative. > Apparently, > someone wanted to try out the Anarch Revolt/Malk Rider Clause combo > I mentioned a while back. I'd like to give you credit, but the idea actually stemmed from a debate I had a while where I argued for the deadliness of Anarch Revolt decks. I wanted to try out such a deck to see if I was right. Rather than slavishly immitate the Anarch Revolt/Delaying Tactics deck I was familiar with, I decided to try some other Vote Reaction. Malk Rider Clause just leaped off the card lists as the most obvious choice. Lupus Australis ____ ____ \ \----/ / |()__()| __\ __ /__ / __\()/__ \ |/ \==/ \| | || |

I built an Anarch Revolt/ Malk Rider Clause deck a couple of years ago for a UCON tournament (University of Michigan) so I expected that someone would have put one up on the news groups long before now. I was just making reference to it being discussed recently. Noal -- "DISCUSSION, n.
