I accidentally bought some conscripted statues, so now I have 17 and need to find a way to use (abuse) them. I assume you can play a freak drive after having played the statue if you play it at superior? (After the combat with the ally). Freak Drive, Action Modifier, 1 blood, Fortitude, R2/R , [Jyhad:R2, V:TES:R, CE:U/PV2, Anarchs:PG] [for] Only usable at the end of a successful action (after resolving the action). Untap this vampire. [FOR] As above, but usable even if the action is blocked (play after combat, if any). Conscripted Statue, Action Modifier, Visceratika, R2 , [Bloodlines:R2] Only usable when an action is blocked. [vis] The opposing minion takes 1 damage during strike resolution each round of the resulting combat if range is close. [VIS] Combat does not occur. Put this card into play. This card represents an ally with 2 life and 2 strength. This ally enters combat with the blocking minion. This ally gets 1 optional press during the combat. Burn this card at the end of combat or if the combat is canceled.

(After the combat with the ally). Yes you can play Freak Drive. If an action modifier or a reaction card ends the action it is specifically noted in the card text, e.g from Obedience "and end the current action (and combat)". -- Johannes Walch

Lots of different actions, mostly retainers and equipment that boosts bleed. If people block when you are equipping, they end up fighting the ally and take 4 dam (assuming no cards being played) after which you untap and do another action. (Lear jet will give you the option of flushing the statues when people stop blocking you and the beauty of it is that the freak drives will just be used normally then). And yes, a memories of mortality played on someone who tends to block alot combined with a few traps, will definitely make people think twice about blocking... :) Making the deck later today.

>I accidentally bought some conscripted statues, Love the concept of "accidentally buying" something. "Excuse me, darling, I bought that expensive dress accidentally, the credit card just slipped into the machine and I typed the code by force of habit...". Do you also accidentally bite people, pee on doorsteps and eat geraniums ? -------- Orpheus, accidental necromancer.

[ quoted text not captured ] call the deck "Trapped at the Rodin Exhibition" or "Lost at the Vatican" or, my favorite, shout like a Jawa from Star Wars "Bernini!"

Leaving them to fight with an ally that hits for two with a press in a combat where all damage is aggravated. :) Dawn Operation, Action Modifier, Fortitude, U , [Jyhad:U, V:TES:U, CE:U, Anarchs:PG2] [for] If this action is blocked, all damage inflicted to all vampires in the resulting combat is aggravated. Any vampire attempting to block may now choose not to block. [FOR] As above, but vampires attempting to block cannot back out.

Even though the rule still applies to slave combats, he was talking about conscripted statues here.... [ quoted text not captured ]

[ quoted text not captured ] I guess if he wanted agg though he could get his statues to whip out molotov cocktails. they do have a built-in press after-all. although playing discipline-less aggravated damage would probably ruin VtES....*cough* [ quoted text not captured ]
