[LSJ] Vitae Block and being Ousted

We had this situation last night. Vinnie blocked Pat's vitae. The next action, Pat was able to Oust Vinnie. The ruling was that Vinnie didn't get an untap phase so the Vitae Block was burned with the blood on it and Pat was SOL. Am I correct? Thanks, John Zbyszinski VEKN Prince of Lansdale
