May vampire C increase his or her bleed with another Bonding?. (Both A and C have Dominate at superior level). Yes. The B-block is superfluous, BTW. C could mask and re-bond without the intervening block attempt. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. "After playing this card, you cannot play another action modifier to further increase the bleed for this action." Or, is the "you" in the text above the acting minion and not the player. Or, am I just reading this wrong? Govern + Conditioning, Mask to another minion and then Condition again? I knew I could do this with Command of the Beast at superior but I thought that was just because it lacked the "cannot play another" text of the other cards. -Robert

I was having a Jyhad-text flashback episode, apparently. > I could do this with Command of the Beast at superior but I thought that was > just because it lacked the "cannot play another" text of the other cards. Replace "Bonding" with "superior Command of the Beast" and it works, yes. [ quoted text not captured ]

How does Mask work with Forest of shadows? Can one malk (M1) have his stealth increased to say +3 stealth for a turn and simply have other vampires mask all the actions at +3 stealth that M1 attempts after the first block? (forest card requirements) it's been buggin a friend of mine for a while now... thanks, jds

(forest card requirements) No. Modifications to the minion (inherent +bleed, Forest of Shadows stealth, etc.) only apply to that minion. [ quoted text not captured ]

Couldn't you use that minion until you hear "no further block attempts" and then Mask the action? -- Regards, Heikki

[ quoted text not captured ] Yes. That won't cause the previous acting minion's stats to transfer over to the new acting minion, though, as above. [ quoted text not captured ]

True enough, but that is effectively the same thing here (except for possible bleed bounce); the action goes through as if it had the stealth from Forest of Shadows. (That card is still rarely worth playing, though...) -- Regards, Heikki
