I need help with a situation that comes up whenever a local player uses a deck with Aching Beauty. If a vampire with Aching Beauty does an action, is blocked but then plays Change of Target does the blocker's controller still lose a pool? Some argue yes because the block was declared but others say no cause the action was cancelled. What do you say? (I suppose this would also apply to Archon and Camarilla Exemplary) Thanx. Change of Target can only be played after a successful block. By that time, the blocker's controller will have lost a pool to Aching Beauty, and Change of Target offers no compensation for that. >(I suppose this would also apply to Archon and Camarilla Exemplary) Yes. Moreso for the Camarilla Exemplary, since the blood is paid as soon as the attempt is announced. -- L.
