Helle all. A few questions arose yesterday, for which we couldn't find or agree on a definitive answer. Magazine: the basic for our discussion was either or not the ammo placed on the magazine is "permanent"... 1) When you put Magazine in play, you *must* put an ammo card on it at that time, right? 2) Once you use that ammo, is it burned, leaving an empty magazine that can later be replenished with another ammo card? The ammo is used "as if played from your hand", so I argued it is burned, but I'm not sure anymore, as I'm not sure the Magazine can be replenished later (card text says to put an ammo card on the Magazine *when* it is played - looks to me like a Rack that has lost its target due to a (ex.:) Diablerie). 3) If you have a full Magazine, can you play another ammo card on this gun while not using the Magazine? (I assume yes, but just checking). Thanks! FGe.

The ammo card entered play and there is no indication that it will be discarded. The ammo is not USED as if played from your hand but the EFFECT of the ammo card is used as if it were played from your hand. Ammo card not discarded. Otherwise what is the point of the ammo card other than filling up a card slot? > 3) If you have a full Magazine, can you play another ammo card on this > gun while not using the Magazine? (I assume yes, but just checking). No reason why not. "may use" And I'm sure there will be someone more definitive along shortly to confirm or rebut this. ;) -JTP

I forgot about this FAQ, and the answered not yet included in the general VtES FAQ (maintained by The Lasombra) or the C/R/E page (I've checked). Frederic.

That the card on the Satyr is not burned when the effect is used is also not on the E/R/C list. The E/R/C list is long enough, and this one doesn't merit inclusion, since there is no reason to believe that the card would be burned. [ quoted text not captured ]
