Ok, I have a question about the various types of 'Bleeding'. I was told the other day that losing blood to a political vote (KRC or Conservative Agitation) was not a 'bleed' and could not be countered, etc. My question is what are the symantics that differentiate the two (your prey is loosing pool regardless) and the dynamics as to why you would not get the edge for calling a vote that made your prey lose pool and you would if one of your minions caused your prey to lose pool. Thanks, Sorrow

The difference is such: bleeding is the specific action by a minion against the Methuselah which results in them losing pool from the action. Political actions such as KRC or ConAg result in a loss of pool, but are not from a bleed. For example, you cannot use Deflection against a Political Action which results in you losing pool. --Shawn F. Sorrow, There are even more ways to cause a prey to lose pool. Get out an Army of Rats or bring out Smiling Jack the Anarch, my favorite, to watch everybody lose pool. All are good fun, but, only bleed actions which are successful can be modified by bleed modifiers, gain you the edge, can be deflected, activate bleed effects. If you cause your prey to lose pool in a way that is not a bleed action you are still moving toward your goal, but you aren't bleeding. Doug Dunaway

Think of your pool as such. NOT just blood. Political Clout. Mr. Brujah man walks over to the Ventrue Chick side of town and starts to put up all these posters saying the Ventrue Methuselah only drinks from Poodles. Your loss of status is represented as a loss of pool. That's Domain Challenge. Get it?
