Alright, I'm aware that you can play spying mission after a night moves. Can you burn the spying mission after a subsequent night moves to get +2 bleed and would that bleed be reduced dy the night moves? -JTP

[ quoted text not captured ] Night Moves [obf] (D) Bleed your predator or prey at +3 stealth. If more than 1 pool is bled with this action, ignore the excess. [OBF] (D) As above, but bleed at +6 stealth. So, yes, by card text Miller Delmardigan http://sabbatinfrance.free.fr/en > > -JTP > >

you can still burn the Spying missions, but Nightmoves specifically says "If more than 1 pool is bled with this action, ignore the excess" therefore Spying missions is useless in this case -Rewy "Miller Delmardigan" <al...@club-internet.fr> wrote in message news:3dc3d2d2$0$261$7a62...@news.club-internet.fr... But then I read the following Archon Investigation/Spying mission ruling. http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=34B0DEA3.41C6%40wizards.com from it: "Spying Mission is only burned after all action modifiers/reactions are played (**when the action finally resolves**)" (**) my emphasis Now what I got out of this was that Spying mission's modifier occured when the action is resolved, after the Night Moves has resolved. If the action has resolved, then night moves cannot reduce the bleed. So I'm confused. If someone could point out the flaw in my reasoning I would appreciate it. -JTP

[ quoted text not captured ] Correct. Night Moves doesn't reduce the bleed. It limits the amount of pool that will be burned on a successful bleed (of any amount). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. To be exact, though, you HAVE to burn the spying mission the next time that minion successfully bleeds. Doesn't matter how they do it (by declaration of bleed action or Night Moves or any other type of bleed action), but the spying mission MUST be burned. Spying Mission [obf] This acting vampire gets +1 stealth. [OBF] Only usable -when a bleed is successful-. Instead of removing pool from the Methuselah you're bleeding, put this card on the acting vampire. *The next time this vampire successfully bleeds the same Methuselah, burn this card for +2 bleed. *Relevant text BTW, this is one drawback to using Spying Mission as a solution to bleed bounce (altough it is a mainstay for my stealth bleed decks that use OBF now). If the same minion is deflected again, you bleed your grand prey for a LOT more than you would have in the original action.
