Salutations Vampire FFans,
I have been only playing Jyhad/V:TES (What ever you want to call it!)
for a few months now and I have a question.
The rules say that if you block a vampire rescuing themselves from
Torpor no combat occures and the target vampire can be diaberised.
Now my question is do you HAVE to diaberise them if you block the self
rescue action?

You are not required to diablerize. Further, by the wording of
the rules, the vampire attempting to leave torpor still loses
the two blood (the blood cost is to attempt to leave, which
differs from another vampire rescuing, where the blood cost is
only paid if the action succeeds). If you choose not to
diablerize, the vampire simply remains in torpor, tapped.

No. You could choose to simply block the action and leave the acting
vampire in torpor.

The acting vampire only loses two blood if the action is successful.
This changed from Jyhad to VtES.

ahem! that USED to be the rule, in Jyhad, but in VTES they only have to
pay if it is successful. Just like a rescue attempt.
