A friend asked me to post a question that has been bugging them for sometime now. If a vampire goes into torpor, and another vamp diablarizes it, a blood hunt may be called. If the one being diab is a camarilla vamp, and the one doing the diab'ing is a sabbat, who can call a hunt, and who can vote in it? I know that Sabbat can't vote in a Blood hunt, and Camarilla can't vote in a Wyld hunt, so what is the answer? Does the voting depend solely on who is BEING diab'd? or the one doing the Diab, or both? Thanks! Matt

As LSJ posted a while back, there is no difference between a Wild Hunt and a Blood Hunt. Any _player_ may call a bloodhunt, and anyone (vampire, player, etc.) may vote in it. James -- James Hamblin je...@cornell.edu

[ quoted text not captured ] I would say let the members of the sect of the Diablerized Vampire vote the Blood Hunt. If the vote is successful, allow members of that sect to attack the Diablerist as a Directed action.

Wild Hunt and Blood Hunt are two names for the same thing. The sect of the diabolist is immaterial, as is the sect of the victim. -- L. Where do these rules come from? There is no (D) action granted by the hunt, nor does the sect of either the diabolist nor the victim play any part in determining who can vote. Anyone can call it, and anyone can vote. Yes, that does mean that if, for instance, Igo the Hungry diablerizes an Inner Circle member, he can get off the hook if a bunch of Archbishops from a variety of USA towns say that it's okay. The Camarilla holds Archbishops' opinions in very high esteem, it seems. Resolve the theme headache in whatever manner comforts you best.
