anyone recall the email or web address of the guy who was selling boxes
of cards for $7? did anyone actually buy anything from him?
also, any info on cheap card sources in the nyc area?
thanks, shauna

I think the price was $5 each if you bought more than 3 boxes, but the
minimum order within the US was $50.?!?!?
I wrote to him about getting cards sent over to Australia, and he replied
saying "Yes, we do export to Austria [sic], but only orders of $500 or
more".
Hmmm, what would I do with 100 boxes of Jyhad....?
I got the impression they were a bit of a backyard-operation...

Heh,heh... Sorry. This is a email from Vienna.

I bought some from him, and it kicked ass.
I do think, however, that these cards are from that early shipment of cards
that were poorly sorted. This seemed to screw up our uncommon distribution,
but the rares seemed fine. I actually opened a few packs with odd numbers of
cards! Nonetheless, it was a fat deal. We bought 5 CASES, and we have 3 more
on the way. It's pretty easy to get a friend to play the game when all
he/she needs to spend is about 20 bucks! The deal we got had the box prices
at $5 each.
I think the Web address is www.edgeman.com or something like that... I'm
sure a search would find it.
have fun!

The last guy was absolutely correct. The Edgeman kicks ass! I bought 2
cases and gave the boxes away for Christmas gifts. Makes a great way to get
new players into the game.
Just my thoughts,

I bought some, and I noticed a wierd distribution of cards as well. Me and my
friend each bought 7 boxes, and we didn't get a single copy of alot of cards.
Such as Day Opp, Dawn Opp, Bomb, Drain Essence, Dragon's Breath Rounds, and
others. We wondered why, but couldn't argue with the great bargin
Jason
Check this out!
We opened some more boxes of starters last night and one of my friends
opened two starter decks that had rares where the uncommons should have
been! Well, gee, guess that's pretty cool, huh? In two starters he got 30
rares (of course the normal rares ere there as well). I know weve beat this
thing to death already, but I had to add that.

The contact was The Edge-Man (ed...@airmail.net). He was selling
booster boxes for US$5.00 plus shipping, $50.00 minimum order.
(shipping rates are $4.00 for the first box, $1.00 for each box
thereafter, last I asked)
This deal is currently funding several sealed booster Jyhad
tournaments for my gaming group in Boston, MA. The next one is Sat.
Jan. 24th at 12 noon. If anyone can come, they're welcome to e-mail
me for directions...
