1)Form of mist, continue action at +1 stealth. If its the same action, can the vampire that was in combat attempt to block again, just as if it was part of the stealth/interecept auction? 2)the Sleeping Mind , causes enemy to be unable to untap at superior for this action But the wake cards say you can attempt to block and react as if untapped, so you can still play these cards and do so correct? Which makes the sleeping mind onlly useful versus the animalsim untap cards iirc. T

It wasn't long before the bloated corpse of (Talo...@hotmail.com) began to stink out the basement... Hooray, my first post! Let's see if I can get any of this right :) >1)Form of mist, continue action at +1 stealth. > >If its the same action, can the vampire that was in combat attempt to >block again, just as if it was part of the stealth/interecept auction? > No. Because he successfully blocked, which tapped him. Then FoM is played to end combat and continue the action - but it doesn't mention untapping the blocking minion. So you can still block it with someone else, if they can provide enough intercept. >2)the Sleeping Mind , causes enemy to be unable to untap at superior >for this action > >But the wake cards say you can attempt to block and react as if >untapped, so you can still play these cards and do so correct? > You can still Wake because you aren't untapping, you're only acting as though you did untap. >Which makes the sleeping mind onlly useful versus the animalsim untap >cards iirc. > And Second Tradition, of course :) -- K *Kill the nospam to reply* If I didn't think you worshipped the very ground I walked on, I'd say you were taking the piss. -- RGMW outtake

If the vampire that just blocked is still untapped (and ready), he can still block. In addition, remember that intercept cards he played earlier still apply. Also, Wakes and Forceds last for the entire action so if the vampire is tapped but played a Wake to block the first time around, the Wake is still in effect (and he can still block again). >2)the Sleeping Mind , causes enemy to be unable to untap at superior >for this action > >But the wake cards say you can attempt to block and react as if >untapped, so you can still play these cards and do so correct? You can still use Wakes to block when the acting minion uses superior Sleeping Mind. The text about tapped vampires not being able to block is just supposed to be a reminder of the normal rules. Note that in addition to countering animalism untaps, it is also effective against Eternal Vigilence and the very commonly seen 2nd Tradition. Halcyan 2

Correct, although he could block again if he didn't tap in the first place (Atonement, Justine) or if he can block while tapped (WwEF, Forced Awakening) or if he can untap to block again (Guard Dogs, Second Tradition, etc.) > >2)the Sleeping Mind , causes enemy to be unable to untap at superior > >for this action > > > >But the wake cards say you can attempt to block and react as if > >untapped, so you can still play these cards and do so correct? > > > You can still Wake because you aren't untapping, you're only acting as > though you did untap.
