Hello, A vampire with superior vicissitude is under the effect of superior Terror Frenzy, with 1 blood left. If he plays superior Chiropteran Marauder, is he able to burn his blood to inflict aggravated hand strikes before he loses it due to Terror Frenzy ? Thank you ! François

[ quoted text not captured ] Uh, oh. I just checked and discovered that Terror Frenzy has been reworded from cost to burn blood. In that case I would rather say it´s possible.

[ quoted text not captured ] Actually, it looks like I was guessing wrong as I went to the opposite conclusion : I thought that, since TF penalty applied when the card was played, while CM had to wait for its resolution to allow to burn blood, CM's burn blood occured after TF's. Where am I mistaken ? By the way, if the Chiropteran was cancelled (e.g. via Direct Intervention or Shape Mastery), does Terror Frenzy apply ? (Terror Frenzy : Only usable before range is determined. Opposing vampire burns an additional blood when playing combat cards this combat. A vampire may play only 1 Terror Frenzy at superior each combat.) Thank you again ! François

Where am I mistaken ? Both are results of card play, applied when the card is played. So they can be ordered as the player sees fit. > By the way, if the Chiropteran was cancelled (e.g. via Direct > Intervention or Shape Mastery), does Terror Frenzy apply ? Yes. It was still played (and it was a combat card). [ quoted text not captured ]

Chiropteran Marauder Type: Combat Requires: Vicissitude [vic] Maneuver. [VIC] This vampire can pay one blood to make the damage from his or her hand strikes aggravated for the current round. So just to be sure I've got this right: according to LSJ, Terror Frenzy will not stop a minion playing a card if they cannot burn a blood to do so. Good to know :)
