1. Inferior flesh of marble and weather control is played. The vampire is dealt one point of damage. Then the opposing vampire strikes with some horrible aggrevated damage. Can the vampire now somehow miracously prevent the weather control damage that was dealt earlier in the round, or was the flesh of marble completely wasted in this example? 2. Bindusara. Does his methuesaleh need to have a ready tremere to let him fetch the arcane library?

Effectively, yes. Were it superior, the aggravated damage could be prevented since you've satisfied the fact that you need to take at least one damage. >2. Bindusara. I would be tempted to rule that you don't need a ready Tremere. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D EBD690ECD7A1F What's the meaning when you speak with so much feeling? Does FoM prevent anything in this scanario?

At superior, this would be prevented. At inferior, this cannot be prevented since it is aggravated. However, Flesh of Marble has already dealt with the first point and cannot go back to it. Effectively, whenever any damage is done to you, whilst Flesh of Marble is underway, if you have not yet taken one point of damage, FoM requires you to take one. (This can be aggravated damage or normal damage - you simply have to take "more than 1 point of damage".) After you have taken that one point, all damage is handled by FoM. At superior, all (preventable) damage is prevented. At inferior, all non-aggravated (preventable) damage is prevented. [ quoted text not captured ]
