I tried a serch on google about this but haven't found the answer... If say, akhenathen (with 3 life) tries to recruit a shambling horde, the action passes, does the shambling comes to play or not ? I'm say this by the RTR "14) If a minion takes an action but the acting player loses control of it before the action is successful, the action simply ends. A player loses control of a minion that is burned, stolen, and so on...." thanks in advance Emiliano, v:ekn prince of Rome

If a hypothetical ally with 3 life that could play cards requiring Necromancy as a vampire, but lacking Akhenaten's shuffle-into-library text, played Shambling Hordes, would the dead ally hit the ash heap in time to satisfy the Hordes' hunger for fresh brains? I.e., what's the timing of the ally's paying the action cost in pseudo-blood life, dying due to lack of life, going to the ash heap, and the Hordes coming into play and requiring the removal of an ally from the ash heap? gomi -- Tenser, said the Tensor; Tenser, said the Tensor; Tension, apprehension, and dissension have begun.

Cost is paid (and death is visited upon the ally) prior to the coming into play. [ quoted text not captured ]
