OK, just a couple of questions: (1) If Pulled Fangs is played, and then Rotschrek is played, what happens? Puller definately goes to torpor, and Pullee would appear not to take the aggravated damage... but are Pullee's fangs still pulled? (2) If someone hunts, and gains no blood from it, the hunt is still successful (like a diseased vampire, who gains no blood from hunting) and the hunter is a candidate for Masquerade Endangered or XTC laced blood? (3) A meta-question: If we were playing a house rule that Concealed weapon didn't require the obfuscate skill, could a HellHound equip with a .44 Magnum that way? Here's a question, While playing a game yesterday, someone played the card "discovered haven" (I think that's the name.) It is placed on any minion, an after this card plays, any minion may choose to attach the affected minion as a directed action. If one vampire attacks the minion, the defending minion is then tapped. If another vampire attacks the minion, can he attack? Can the affected minion defend? Can he simply take the damage delt to him/her? :-) Bshu...@ix.net.com

If you read the Hell Hound card carefully, you'll find that this only available action is blocking. You could play where you didn't need *any* skills to play *any* card and the Hell Hound would still be unable to equip *anything*. Remember what Seinfeld says about dogs (and I'm paraphrasing): Do you know why dogs are always broke? They don't have any pockets! Even if they find a quarter laying on the street, they can't do anything about it. -- Arrogantly twisting the sterile canvas snoot of a | a-Henh! fully charged icing annointment utensil, he poots forth | a tiny green rosette near the summit of a dense but | Brian radiant muffin of his own design. | Wilson | We miss you, Frank! |

This is wrong. Combat does _not_ tap a minion. rather the act of blocking an action or performing an action blocks a vampire. Therefore if someone attacked a vamp with its haven uncovered, said victim vamp would _not_ be tapped by being attacked. Same deal with bum rush and all other cards like it. If you take a look at the concealed weapon card, it says you equip during combat, so the hound never actually takes an equip action. THe scenario is as follows: 1) vamp. X does action 2) hell hound blocks 3) in combat, hell hound pulls out a concealed weapon(using the no skill needed rule). So IMHO, in this specific situation, hell hound would be able to equip with a weapon. later

A similar case is the pred. bleed and prey playing telepathic counter. In that situation, the bleed is not considered successful if no blood is lost. However in this case, I would think that as long as the action is not blocked, the hunt is "successful". >(3) A meta-question: If we were playing a house rule that Concealed >weapon didn't require the obfuscate skill, could a HellHound equip >with a .44 Magnum that way? answered this somewhere else I believe.

I haven't gotten an answer on whether the Pulled Fangs is nullified entirely. >(2) If someone hunts, and gains no blood from it, the hunt is still >successful (like a diseased vampire, who gains no blood from hunting) >and the hunter is a candidate for Masquerade Endangered or XTC laced blood? Yes. "successful", at least in this context, means "not blocked" >(3) A meta-question: If we were playing a house rule that Concealed >weapon didn't require the obfuscate skill, could a HellHound equip >with a .44 Magnum that way?
