I haven't been able to find this question asked/answered anywhere, but it came up recently... Name: Sibyl's Tongue [BH:R2] Cardtype: Action Clan: Malkavian antitribu Cost: X blood +1 stealth action. This action costs X blood, where X is the number of Sibyl's Tongues in your ash heap. Choose a card by name. Search your library for a copy of that card, show it to all players, and move it to your hand. Discard down to your hand size and shuffle your library afterward. The very first time you play this card (and before any are in the ash heap), the card costs zero pool, correct? Thanks in advance, Dave the Romantic

zero blood, not pool... (you got me tricked into saying "correct" in my previous posting and then realized that you were saying "zero pool", so zero blood, not pool) George

Umm... One, for the copy you just played (and sent immediately to the ash heap). Remember, you only pay the cost when the action is complete. By that time the card is already in the ash heap (it was placed there when the action was announced). -- Bye, Daneel

An action card that generated the current action is neither in play nor in your hand nor in the ash heap. It's "somewhere else."

That is kind of hazy for a definition, wouldn't you agree? ;) -- Bye, Daneel
