But Your predator could if he Masked the action over to another minion and had that minion play Threats). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. When I played DI on Blythe Candeleria with Dominate Master who played threats for the first time, she played Threats again. Judge ruled it was legal. Sheesh. It was not revelant to the outcome of the game, but I asked since I had doubts about it. Thanks a lot. Gurus.

Just for a reminder : We know that when an action modifier is the target of a D.I. you can't play the same again. same thing in combat with cards playable only once per combat : if an immortal grapple is the target of a D.I., the same vampire cannot play a second Immortal grapple because the card has been played and the second IG checks whether a previous one has been playde (iirc one of lsj's previous statement) so why a newly played "Conditiongn" doesn't recall a previously D.I.'ed "hreats" ? why is > bleed, no block, Threats, D.I., conditioning legal whereas > drawing out the beast , D.I, drawing out the beast illegal ?? where' s the line ? thanks LSJ reyda

Card text. Immortal Grapple: A vampire may play only 1 Immortal Grapple each round. Conditioning: After playing this card, you cannot play another action modifier to further increase the bleed for this action. > why is > bleed, no block, Threats, D.I., conditioning legal > whereas > drawing out the beast , D.I, drawing out the beast illegal ?? > > where' s the line ? To clear up on LSJ's usual minimalist post ;) the difference is that Conditioning (and Threats, et al) only cares about bleed modifiers being played _after_ itself, while IG checks to see if any has already been played too. So when the second modifier is played, it doesn't care if another has been played before (otherwise superior Comand of the Beast would be rather pointless), but IG 'sees' the previous one being played (even though it had no effect due to DI), and prevents itself from being played. Hope that helps (some more) ;) Flux

SAy a minion plays bum's Rush and it get's Di'd - can the minion play the same card again? i believe it can, as the action did not get to resolve. jds

LSJ, If a card is DI is it considered played? if so why can conditioning be played to further increase the bleed? David [ quoted text not captured ]

Ignore me I read your other post

That reminded me I wanted to ask you a question on MotF. Is it legal for Carlotta Giovanni taking her built-in action, then say, Lucretia taking it over?. Or Yong Sun trying to burn your prey's crypt top vampire, then Dimple taking it over? G.
