A ruling from the NAC:
If you control a card on another Methuselah's vampire (e.g., a Fame or a Pentex
Subversion), and that vampire is Banished (taking your card out of play), what
happens to your card when that Methuselah is ousted?
Your card is burned (and placed in your ash heap), not removed from the game
[1.1.2].

I couldn't find an answer to those using the GoogleGroups search, so
here are some similar questions :
* Suppose A plays Fame on Vampire B, controlled by her prey. Suppose
B gets contested, and B's controller gets ousted while B is contested.
Does the Fame go (from B) to A's ash heap?
* Suppose A plays Fame on Vampire B, controlled by her prey. B now
plays Descent into Darkness, and B's controller gets ousted before B
comes back in play. Does the Fame go from B to A's ash heap?
Now some trickier:
* A plays Erciyes Fragment, and puts a card from her prey's ash heap
on the Ercyies Fragments. A gets ousted without playing the card. Does
the card on the Fragment go to the ash heap ?
* A plays Erciyes Fragment, and puts a card from her prey's ash heap
on the Fragment. B plays Erciyes Fragment, contesting it before A
played the card on it. A gets ousted. Does the card on A's Erciyes
Fragment go to the ash heap ?
And finally a bit more distant:
* A plays Shilmulo Tarot, and moves 2 cards from the top of her
library to the Tarot. B steals the Tarot, and B is ousted. Do A's
cards on the Tarot go to A's ash heap?
* A plays Shilmulo Tarot, and moves 2 cards from the top of her
library to the Tarot. B steals the Tarot, and A is ousted. Are A's
cards on the Tarot removed from the game as A is ousted?
* A plays Mokole Blood, and moves 4 cards from her library to the
Mokole Blood. B steals the Mokole Blood. B now plays a card from the
MB, does that card go to B's ash heap?

Descent into Darkness
Cardtype: Action
Cost: 1 blood
Discipline: Obtenebration
+1 stealth action.
[obt] Turn the acting vampire and any cards on him or her face down,
out of play (breaking any temporary control effects). Put this card on
him or her (in play). During your influence phase, move 2 blood to
this face down vampire from the blood bank, and you can choose to burn
this card to return the vampire to play, tapped.
[OBT] As above, but the vampire is untapped when he or she returns to
play.
The Erciyes Fragments
Cardtype: Master
Unique master.
Put this card in play. Tap this card to move a library card from your
prey's ash heap to this card, face down. You may look at that card at
any time. You may play the card from the Fragments as if playing it
from your hand (requirements and cost, if any, apply as normal). When
that card is burned, remove it from the game instead. Only 1 card can
be on this card at a time. Any vampire with a capacity above 4 can
steal the Fragments (and any card on it) for his or her controller as
a (D) action.

AKA: Mokole Blood
Cardtype: Equipment
Clan: Follower of Set
Cost: 1 pool
Unique equipment.
Search your library -{and/or}- ash heap for up to four cards that
require Serpentis [ser] and place them on this card (face down).
Shuffle afterward. You may look at the cards at any time. This
Follower of Set may play a card from this equipment as if from your
hand (requirements and cost apply as usual). When the last card is
removed, burn this equipment.
Shilmulo Tarot
Cardtype: Equipment
Clan: Ravnos
Unique equipment.
Move the top two cards from your library to this equipment (face
down). You may look at the cards on this equipment at any time. If
this Ravnos is ready and you should draw a card from your library, you
may draw one of these cards instead. During your untap phase, you may
move the top card from your library to this card.
