Folks, in looking over some Fortitude-based cards, I seem to have some questions. Undead Persistence: Let's say I have Rufina with zero blood on her in combat with Lupo with 2 blood. Both strike with hands: Lupo falls to 1 blood while Rufina with 0 blood should now go into torpor (right?). Rufina plays Undead Persistence and then Trap, so another round of combat ensues, which ends with Lupo falling to 0 blood and Rufina (presumably) still on her feet. A 3rd round follows, and Lupo takes another damage. Without any blood to asbsorb the damage, Lupo goes into torpor (right?). Combat ends, and Rufina goes into torpor. Does this scenario work?? Similarly, let's say Rufina (0 blood) is fighting with Roman Alexander (2 blood). They exchange blows during combat. Roman drops to 1 blood. As above, Rufina pulls out Undead Persistence (U.P.) to keep from going into torpor and then presses Roman to continue combat. Second round, Roman pulls out his Wolf Claws while Rufina does hand damage back. Roman falls to zero blood. What happens to Rufina?? Would the previous U.P. keep Rufina up and punching? If Rufina now pulled out, say, a Boxed In, would/could combat continue?? Indomitability: cards with "Prevent 1 damage" will prevent regular or aggravated damage? Thanks in advance, Madman -- Posted via Talkway - http://www.talkway.com Exchange ideas on practically anything (tm).

Rufina takes an agg while she is wounded, so this destroys her. She has no blood to burn to prevent her destruction, so she is burned. > Indomitability: cards with "Prevent 1 damage" will prevent regular or > aggravated damage? Yes, unless otherwise specified, as in superior Resilience. -davey!
