1. A vampire takes an action, my vamp wither Wakes or Forced Awakens and blocks. His vampires strikes with Form of Mist or that other continue-action Obtenebration card (what is it...). Must my vampire wake again and attempt to block, or may I play reactions (intercept, for example) "as if untapped" until the action is resolved? 2. Someone Malk Dementias a Malk with a Blood Doll. May the new Meth siphon off a blood? I know there was some discussion about control of masters vs. control of vampires. How does this work exactly? --Judy -- *-------------------------------------------------------------------------* | Judith Grunberger, Technical Writing Weenie/Intern, McCabe & Associates | | jcoo...@glue.umd.edu * http://www.glue.umd.edu/~jcookson | *-------------------------------------------------------------------------*

The Wake's effect lasts for the entire action, so that vampire can re-block (that vampire retains all intercept gained on the initial block, as well - intercept level remains for the duration of the action). > 2. How does this work exactly? Blood Doll has errata to feed (or be fed from) the controller of the vampire on which the Blood Doll is placed. So, yes, you can siphon a blood off of the demented malk. -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@regency.wizards.com) Official VtES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. (*) - Subject to review by Rules Team

The reason is that wake does not actually untap the vampire but allows the vampire to react as if untapped. Thus the normal penalty of blocking (being tapped) does not apply to this situation.
