Howdy, What happens when an otherwise normal minion attempts to strike for the third time with a Weighted Walking Stick? By 'otherwise normal' I just mean that the minion is using a base strength of 1 and not otherwise adjusting the damage, so that each strike is for 2, and thus removes two counters. Relevant text (from Monger, as I don't own the card yet): Weighted Walking Stick Combat Only usable before range is determined on the first round Put this card on this minion and put 5 counters on this card. While in play, this card represents a melee weapon (and counts as equipment while in play). This weapon does strength+1 damage each strike. For each point of damage inflicted by this strike (even if it is prevented), remove a counter from this card. Burn this card when is has no counters. A minion can have only 1 Weighted Walking Stick I presume the answer to the question is that the strike does its 2, the final counter remaining is removed, the 'overdrawn' portion is ignored, and the card burns? That is, I presume that you can strike for as much damage as you can generate with a WWS as long as it still has at least one counter? Also, for purposes of Thomas Steed, does the WWS count as a melee weapon (in hand)? Pretty please? Thanks, Alex

[ quoted text not captured ] Right. > Also, for purposes of Thomas Steed, does the WWS count as a melee > weapon (in hand)? Pretty please? No. It's a combat card. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Links to V:TES news, rules, cards, utilities, and tournament calendar: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/
