Qs: Form of Mist and Wake w/Evening's Freshness

A couple rules questions that I thought I knew the answers to, but maybe not: 1. Can an acting vampire play superior Form of Mist without using the "continue at +1 stealth" part of the effect? I had always thought not, but card text says "can" continue this action, so maybe so. (This came up at the Ascendance tournament in NJ the other day. The judge went with the "can means it's optional" theory.) 2. Iliana hunts at the usual +1 stealth. Crusher, who has a Sport Bike, plays Wake w/Evening's Freshness and blocks her. Iliana plays superior Form of Mist. Can Crusher try to block again, using the same Wake, or would he need to play another Wake? I always thought he could block based on the same Wake, as card text specifies "until the current action is concluded", but several players at Ascendance had always played that he would need a new Wake, apparently based on the "as if unblocked" text on Form of Mist, the reasoning being that that means the first Wake is effectively canceled. Thanks, Josh Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

If this vampire is the acting vampire, this vampire gets +1 stealth (and this card counts as an action modifier) and the action continues as if unblocked." > 2. Iliana hunts at the usual +1 stealth. Wake's effect lasts "until the current action is concluded", as you note. Even as the action continues "as if unblocked", the woken vampire is still able to "use reaction cards and attempt to block as though untapped", by card text.
