Hello,
I'd appreciate if someone could clarify something for me here.
My question is if you use Dragon's Breath Rounds and playRotschrock
right after, is the firing of a Dragon Breath still destroying the
weapon?
I am wondering 'cause the card says "Burn the gun after strike
resolution" and this resolution actually never takes place when using
Rotschreck, does it (the gun's damage is never calculated/executed) ?
Thanks for any comment :-)
Cheers.

I thought you couldn't use Dragon Breath Rounds with Rotschrock
because they were used in different "windows". Rotschrock is used as
you declare your strike and Dragon Breath Rounds is used after
resolution. Is that correct or I´m wrong?

DBR is used anytime before the resolution of a guns strike, in the
'claws' window so to speak. Rotshreck likewise can be used anytime
before strike resolution.

I supposed the "only usable" text meant the exact timming of the card,
like Immortal Grapple . Claws dont have the "only usable" text so they
can be played in any window.

Yes you can play claws like before range if you really want to, only
usable before resolution of a guns strike is anywhere between when the
strike is declared and before strikes are resolved, so you can play it
right away when you declare the strike, or wait to see what your
opponent is striking with first (the usual way).

Oh, ok - so you actually do keep the weapon, I thought so too, but
wasn't entirely sure.
Sounds kind of neat for wall decks, doesn't it?
Thanks for clarifying.
Cheers.

This reminds you of a question I had. Probably stupid but...
ok over the years I have always players DBR after the opponent's
strike was announced, to avoid being caught by a dodge or a combat
ends. Also, I was trying to make my opponent play it before my strike
^^
At a time, I wondered if you had the right to play DBR before the
opponent's strike at all, since the "before strike is resolved" window
is after opponent's strike announcement. I was wondering because, if
you can use it whenever you want, you can completely screw up canine
horde "strike: destroy weapon" or similar cards, because you destroy
the gun in order to make 2 aggravated damages before your opponent
gets a chance to destroy it.
What do you think? Is that something you can do?

Afaik you can play DBR in the pre-range combat step, but it won't do
any damage until the strike resolves anyway. So Canine Horde will
still trump it with first strike.

No. It is only usable before resolution of a gun's strike. As in "immediately
before".
Also, even if you could, it would not have any possibility of screwing up Canine
Horde. If there were a Claws-timing version of the effect, it still says "each
strike", so having Canine Hordes destroy your weapon before it strikes would
keep that from happening (and "burn after strike resolution" keeps at bay any
thought of burning the gun via DBR before Canine Hordes' does it).
