This came up in a game recently. Scenario: After a player's untap phase, one of his minions in torpor finds itself with a Lunatic Eruption (LE) placed on it. Q: Is the minion with the LE able to bypass the mandatory action due to being in torpor and rescue itself, or is it stuck in torpor since it can't fulfill the requirement of LE? If the answer is yes it can rescue itself, and afterwards the minion plays Freak Drive, is it forced to take the attack action (if there is a valid target) mandated by LE? or can it do what it wants at that point? Thanks -Alex

He can leave torpor (or Rapid Heal or Regenerate or Move his Slow Body). Google: "Lunatic Torpor author:LSJ" See also an empty vampire using Rapid Healing to leave torpor. > If the answer is yes it can rescue itself, and afterwards the minion > plays Freak Drive, is it forced to take the attack action (if there is > a valid target) mandated by LE? or can it do what it wants at that > point? He'll have to take care of the mandatory action. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
