No. Maneuvering with a strike means you are choosing your strike as well. [6.4.2 p37] You cannot do so if you do not have a strike. - see the LSJ quoted here: http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=697992132 > Can a vampire who has blocked a vampire leaving torpor and has > committed diablerie use Reform Body after burning? No. A vampire burned by a bloodhunt vote cannot play Reform Body to avoid burning. There is no action to react to, so he cannot play reaction cards. -see the LSJ cited here: http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=673844595 Carpe Noctem. No. Maneuvers from strikes (incl. weapons) cannot be used if you don't get a strike. > Can a vampire who has blocked a vampire leaving torpor and has > committed diablerie use Reform Body after burning? No. The blood hunt burns him in the "resolve the referendum" portion of that referendum, and no reaction cards can be played during the referendum [6.5.6] (Plus, he's tapped, and tapped vampires cannot usually play reaction cards. But even if he wants to Wake, see above.) -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. But even if he wants to Wake, see above.) On a similar note, this question came up recently and I wasn't 100% on the answer: Vamp A with vic/VIC in Torpor, untapped. Vamp B, acting, diablerizes. Vamp A uses Reform Body Can a blood hunt be called on Vamp B? Is the Diablerie considered successful (for cards such as Ritual of the Bitter Rose)? Reform Body [SAB] - Combat/Reaction (vis) * If the vampire playing Reform Body was being diablerized, but saved himself with Reform Body, the diablerie is considered unsuccessful. The diabolist gets nothing from the victim, and no Blood/Wild Hunt can be called. [LSJ 24-FEB-1997] [ quoted text not captured ]

[LSJ 24-FEB-1997] On another similar note: If you control two vampires, with one in torpor and you have your ready vampire diablerize the torporized one, can you have the one in torpor play Reform Body? You control the acting minion and Reform Body is a reaction so...? Halcyan 2
