Eagle's Sight [aus] This reacting vampire gets +1 intercept. [AUS] This reacting vampire attempts to block the current action, ignoring the normal prey, predator, or target restrictions for blocking actions. A question came up during a three-player game tonight, in which the superior version would normally be worthless. I had an Eagle's Sight in my hand, which I wanted to cycle, and for which situation I couldn't use the inferior (the acting minion didn't have enough stealth). Could I use it superior, despite not needing to? We ruled that I could, as I just "attempted to block, ignoring the normal prey, predator, etc". Was this a correct ruling? Thanks in advance. Kushiel

It's what i have used before. :) doesn't mean it's right though.... i'm sure LSJ or Lasombra or maybe Mr Coupe (who's been awfully silent recently) will chip in with something useful.. salem domain:canberra http://www.geocities.com/salem_christ.geo/vtes.htm

Cheers Scott, and thanks Ed for remembering to ask the question [it arose last night in our pub game, and we played it Ed/Scott's way]. And while i'm on-line and thinking about this sort of stuff, can i play several Rituals of the bitter Rose as combat cards? The text-change between the VTES edition and, er, the most recent one, suggests i can.

Except that both my predator and prey were playing political decks... I don't think my prey even tried to take any directed actions. Which kept me very happy. :) Kushiel
