Trap Cardtype: Combat During the press step, if any Methuselah has played a card earlier in the current round or during the two previous rounds, the Trap automatically provides a press to continue (either combatant can press to end). This, to me, would seem to mean that Trap counts itself as a card "played earlier in the current round or during the two previous rounds". A certain person will not believe me that card text would tend to justify this. SO, since I am crappy prince with a terrible memory for rules details rather than a GOOD prince whose rules knowledge is unimpeachable :-P, I have been sent to Usenet to dutifully get confirmation (or correction, I suppose) of my tenuous interpretation of this card. Please help. Commander of the Harpies

[ quoted text not captured ] You have read the card correctly. It states "if any methuselah has played a card". It doesn't state "after the Trap is played, if any methuselah" So Trap is played and thus triggers its text regarding a press for the current round. In essence Trap grants a single press barring any card play. D

[ quoted text not captured ] I meant in that turn itself ... but yes you are correct according to the continuing pressing for 3 rounds since Trap played itself. The way I like to track the Trap is to play cards each round in nice piles left to right, discard those that are older than 3 rounds (current round and last 2 rounds). This way it is easy to see if the trap is pressing. D
